Meet Nick
I'm Nick Neuvirth, a Certified Rolfer® and Board Certified Structural Integrator serving clients in Bloomington, Minnesota and throughout the Twin Cities. My approach to Rolfing® Structural Integration is focused on helping people understand and improve their body's movement patterns through skilled hands-on work with the fascial system.
My own experience overcoming injuries and chronic pain through Rolfing is what inspired me to pursue this work. After experiencing changes in my own body through the Rolfing Ten-Series, I saw firsthand how addressing whole-body patterns could create meaningful improvements in movement, balance, and how a person feels in their body.
I trained at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® in Boulder, Colorado, the leading school for Rolfing education, and continue to expand my knowledge through advanced training and experience working with people from all walks of life, including active individuals and athletes. My goal is to help each client move with greater ease, awareness, and freedom.

The hallmark of Rolfing is the Ten-Series, the goal of which is to balance and optimize both the structure (shape) and function (movement) of the entire body over the course of ten unique Rolfing sessions. Dr. Ida Rolf designed the sessions to cover the territory of the whole body in the least amount of sessions possible. Rolfing is a therapy that will acknowledge your pains but we try to address those trouble spots not by only working where it hurts but by balancing the entire body. If you’ve never received a Rolfing session before, the 10 series is the best place to start.

Many people have been told or heard that Rolfing is painful. Much of the reputation for pain came from the early days when Rolfing was first gaining public recognition. Since that time, the process has evolved without sacrificing the results of the work. The work can be deep and sometimes intense but should never be painful. I am in constant communication with you throughout the session, and if something feels too intense or uncomfortable, just let me know, because you are in control of your session.

We will begin by checking in to see how you are feeling and go over together the goals of the session or series. I will then have you change into the clothes you chose to wear for the session while I step out. Then I will have you do a couple of assessments and we start our table work together. It will be a combination of passive work or active movement from you. The session will wrap up with some final assessments and a check in to see how you are feeling. I will then take your payment and look to see if you want to schedule your next session.
